Press release from the City of Fort Wayne:
City’s parking garages free for Night of Lights event Wednesday
Parking meters free Thursday, Friday for City holidayThe City of Fort Wayne’s three downtown parking garages – Civic Center, Harrison Square and the City-County Building’s Plaza Garage – will be free Wednesday after 5 p.m. for visitors to the downtown Night of Lights festivities.
“Downtown Fort Wayne has an amazing list of activities at so many attractions Wednesday night. By offering our parking garages at no cost that evening, I hope we make it more convenient for Fort Wayne families, and we can see even more people coming down to enjoy the kick-off to the holiday season,” said Mayor Tom Henry.
Because of the City holidays Thursday and Friday, parking meters will be free those two days.
