This is a bit old, but I want to give an update.
On October 21, 2009, several employees of the Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union were working on preparing the granite slabs for engraving. The slabs will be installed at the Law Enforcement/Fire Fighter Memorial of Allen County and will have some artwork and list the names of those Fire Fighters and Police Officers who have given their lives in service of this community.
Vinyl sheets were applied to the slabs. The sheets had been cut with a laser print, but the cutout portions needed to be removed by hand. This process took several days.
