Let the Ice Cream fest begin!
Zesto on Broadway opened this morning -- a sure sign it is indeed the first day of Spring. To celebrate, the first 95 people, between noon and 1 pm, received a free ice cream cone. 95 was chosen as the magic number because it was a Majic WAJI joint promotion. The family pictured above, were the first customers of the season. This year, there are some changes in store to the structure as neon will be added to the familiar ice cream cone sign above. Zesto was awarded a grant during the recent City of Fort Wayne Commercial Façade Grant Program. I would say money well spent on a business that has brought so much to our City!
Congratulations to Chris, owner of Zesto and Janet the frozen-speciality engineer whom many of us know from our hundreds of visits to the stand!!
