TinCaps Military Appreciation Day, July 5
TinCaps partner with Northeast Indiana Military Assistance Network to educate active and retired military personnel on state resources available during day-long military appreciation.

Veterans and active duty individuals serving our country in any branch of the military will be recognized at the TinCaps game on Monday, July 5, 2010 during Military Appreciation Day at Parkview Field.

The Northeast Indiana Military Assistance Network is collaborating with the Fort Wayne TinCaps to provide a memorable and educational event. Military vehicles will be on display on the concourse, the Lincoln Financial Event Center will have kiosk displays of local and state resources for military families
and veterans available to them from 10:00 am – noon and from 2:00 p.m. through the 6th inning, commemorative jerseys will be worn by the TinCaps for the July 5 game and then silent auctioned to support the Indiana Military Family Relief Fund and a banner available for community members to thank the military in addition to the family friendly TinCaps game.

The Northeast Indiana Military Assistance Network is a collaboration of local agencies committed to raising the community awareness of the veteran and military family experience, connecting veteran and military families with local and state resources, and increasing veteran and military families’ access to resources.

Monday, July 5th
Military resource kiosks at Parkview Field: 10:00am to noon (open to public), 2:00 to 6th inning
Game time: 3:05pm
Special Events: Military Appreciation Day, Patriotic Jerseys, Family Feast ($1 hot dogs, soda, and more)
